AND ITS LICENSED APPLICATORS PLEDGE TO DONATE TO HURRICANE KATRINA RELIEF EFFORTSNewport Beach, Calif. - September 20, 2005 - Immediately following the devastation left behind by Hurricane Katrina, Hacker Industries, Inc., the leading supplier of cementitious floor underlayments and acoustical control products, established a fund to support the relief efforts in Alabama, Katrina and Louisiana. The monetary donation will be made to the Salvation Army Katrina Relief Fund. Hacker Industries, Inc. began accepting donations from its nationwide network of Licensed Applicators, and pledged a dollar-for-dollar match in addition to a separate contribution by Hacker Industries, Inc. The company, with Licensed Applicators across the U.S. and Canada, will continue to accept donations through the end of September.
