M&M LIGHTWEIGHT CONCRETE AND HACKER INDUSTRIES HELP RENOVATE WEST SACRAMENTO TEEN CENTER

NEWPORT BEACH, CALIF. - May 17, 2004 - Located in the heart of West Sacramento, the 12,000-square-foot building located at 1541 Merkley Road had been abandoned for more than 20 years and was in dire need of a face-lift to transform it into the new Collings West Sacramento Teen Center. Formerly the site of a Bank of America processing facility, the Center re-opened with a dedication ceremony on Tuesday, May 11 with a new 200-seat auditorium, classrooms, activity centers and more.

West Sacramento, Calif.-based M&M Lightweight Concrete, a Licensed Applicator of Hacker Floor Underlayments, was selected by Sundt Construction, Inc. to help renovate the Collings West Sacramento Teen Center. General Contractor Sundt Construction, Inc. donated their construction management services for the renovation project and recruited the industry's top manufacturers to supply their products at no charge. Sundt Construction selected Sacramento-based M&M Lightweight to pour FIRM-FILL® 3310, which was contributed by Newport Beach-based Hacker Industries, Inc., to repair and level the existing damaged and uneven concrete surface.

M&M Lightweight, a Licensed Applicator of Hacker Floor Underlayments, donated their work and installed approximately 12,000 square feet of FIRM-FILL® 3310 gypsum concrete to bring new life and durability to the floor surface. FIRM-FILL 3310® provided a smooth, flat, rock-solid surface ready for a finished floor covering.

"Our entire crew was very proud to be a part of this renovation project," said Wendy Anderson of M&M Lightweight. "We were amazed at how all the Sacramento building and construction professionals came together to rejuvenate the Teen Center and create a positive place for our youth."

More than $600,000 of labor, products and in-kind donations were made by local contractors and community leaders throughout Sacramento and California. The donors were recognized on May 11 at a special donor preview and were presented with a special plaque that will be on display inside the Teen Center.
