Renee Haas and Heidi Hauff Join Leading Supplier of Gypsum Concrete

Newport Beach, Calif. November 18, 2003 - Hacker Industries, Inc., a leading manufacturer of gypsum concrete floor underlayments and sound control systems, today announced it has expanded its team with the addition of Renee Hass as Marketing Coordinator and Heidi Hauff as Communications Coordinator.

With an extensive background in marketing and design, Haas will play an integral role in shaping Hacker Industries, Inc.ıs brand image nationwide through advertising and marketing strategies. As marketing coordinator, Haas will oversee all graphic design, media programs, and brand development.

Haas previously served as Marketing Coordinator for Laguna Beach, Calif.-based Levin & Hawes, LLP where she oversaw the companyıs website design, advertising, public relations and special events. Before moving to Calif., she owned and designed a line of womenıs clothing and accessories in Chicago, IL. Haas received her bachelor of arts in economics from the University of Toledo in Toledo, OH and is currently pursuing a Certificate in Digital Arts from Irvine Valley College.

With more than three years public relations expertise, Hauff brings the ability to manage and strategically develop public relations programs. In her new role, Hauff is responsible for overall corporate communications including media relations and press material development, trade show promotions, collateral development and special event planning.

Prior to joining Hacker Industries, Inc., Hauff served as an Account Executive at an Orange County-based public relations agency. There she was responsible for all media relations, copywriting, and marketing initiatives for a variety of consumer accounts. Hauff holds a bachelorıs degree in communications with an emphasis in public relations from Chapman University.
