Keystone Gypsum Flooring of Altoona, Pennsylvania, specializes in the installation of gypsum concrete floor underlayments over radiant heating systems. The principals of Keystone Gypsum Flooring were in business for nearly a decade prior to becoming Licensed Applicators of Hacker Floor Underlayments in 2000. After licensing with Hacker Industries, Inc., they have installed thousands of square feet of GYP-SPAN Radiant, a high-strength gypsum concrete floor underlayment formulated specifically for use over radiant heating systems.

When asked why they chose to specialize in radiant installations, Jack Makdad, CEO of Keystone said, "We had a substantial amount of knowledge about installing radiant heating tubes. By focusing our efforts on this niche market and acquiring access to the Hacker Floor Underlayment line of products, we have bridged the gap between radiant contractors and floor installers. It is unusual for a company to provide complete radiant heating service. We do a good job, and we have fun doing it."

Keystone Gypsum Flooring became a Licensed Applicator of Hacker Floor Underlayments "because of the support the company provides and the high-quality products they supply," said Jack Makdad. Along with GYP-SPAN Radiant, Keystone Gypsum Flooring is trained and licensed to apply the full line of FIRM-FILL Gypsum Concretes supplied by Hacker Industries, Inc.

Keystone Gypsum Floors is comprised of nine employees. They are members of the Radiant Panel Association, BCBA and the Altoona Chamber of Commerce.
